WHS Announcements

There will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing golf next fall in the cafeteria on Tuesday May 19 right after school.

Attention 8th grade boys entering into the 9th grade: If you are interested in football, there is a 9th grade football sign up sheet in the athletic office. Stop by today or Friday and sign up. There will be a football parents meeting for grades 9-12 on May 26 at 5:30 in the Large Group Room.

JOII Club members, instead of swimming at Schwartz’s pool this summer the Lauras got permission to take you bowling on Monday, May 18th. You will leave school at 11:00 am, eat pizza at the bowling alley, bowl and come back to the high school by 1:30. The only thing they need from each of you is a permission slip signed by your parents. Mr. Rex will pass them out today. If you don’t get one, find him.. Sounds wonderful…they will see you on Monday at 11:00 am!

The J.V. and Varsity softball banquet will be this Monday the 18th at 7:00 in the Large Group Room.

The annual sports physicals will be held on May 19th. Remember that all students wanting to play any sport next year MUST have a physical before participating next year. The physicals are free on this date, so please plan to attend. Stop in the athletic office to pick up a form. Make sure that all necessary parts have been filled out and signed prior to arriving. You will enter the school and register at the east door between the B and C buildings. The schedule for screenings is:

Tomorrow, Varsity Tennis is at the Sectional Tournament at Ohio Northern, Varsity Softball At Coldwater High School and Varsity Baseball At Sectional Tournament at Elida versus Celina.

When you clean out your lockers, be sure to pass on all usable notebooks, paper, pencils, binders, markers, colored pencils, locker shelves, etc to Miss Valenti in room B-120 and we will find them a good home next year. We're paying it forward, going green, Reducing, Reusing, Recycling, being neighborly, Saving the Earth, being kind to Mother Nature.
