| PREREQUISITE:
Senior Year/18 years of age
NOTE: Must also sign up for #602 Work Experience CBI helps students become productive workers while enhancing their civic responsibilities, skills in problem solving, and realistic training for the vocations of life. The content of the course includes a related academic class that is all year long for one credit and work-related credit (Course #602) that is worth two credits. The related portion of the course will discuss employability issues, job-hunting skills, employer/employee issues, career exploration, individual and team problem solving. A minimum of 500 hours of successful on-the-job work experience is expected in order to satisfy the work credit. Instructor and guidance counselors with administrative approval will select students. |
