Education is required of all freshmen and sophomores. Activities

to grades: 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of Basic Physical Education of for individuals with advanced skills (instructor recommendation) |
| This class also emphasizes team games and sports (see Basic PE above) but at a more competitive, structured level for students of higher skill level. Other non-traditional games (including relay races) could be emphasized, based on students interest and instructor expertise. |

| Health is required of all freshmen. Health units taught include: first aid, sex education, disease, consumerism, chemical substances, CPR, mental health, nutrition, physical health, and sexually transmitted diseases. |
